Why Scratch Coding is Great for Kids

  • 🎮 Fun & Engaging
Scratch feels like a game — kids move colorful blocks of code to make characters act, talk, and play.

  • 💡 Coding Basics Made Simple
Students learn real programming concepts without complicated syntax.

  • 🎨 Creativity & Storytelling
They can design their own stories, animations, and games from scratch (literally!).

  • 🤔 Problem-Solving
Debugging is built into the process — kids learn persistence and logical thinking.

    • No, we provide laptops with Scratch installed.

    • It’s okay to miss a session, but coming regularly gives the best learning experience and steady progress.

    • If you pay monthly and let us know 24+ hours in advance:

      • In a 4-class month → you can choose:

        • Reschedule the class within the same month for free, OR

        • Receive a $20 credit toward the next month. (The $140 monthly pass is recalculated as $40 per class × 3 classes = $120, so you carry over the remaining $20.)

      • In a 5-class month → the extra session is included at no additional cost, so the missed class doesn’t carry over.

    • If you pay per class and let us know 24+ hours in advance:

      • The class may be rescheduled once.

    • If you don’t let us know at least 24 hours in advance → the class cannot be rescheduled or credited.
